Kind & Co. has been synonymous with high-quality tool steel since 1888 – manufactured in Bielstein. We provide first-class material solutions, top quality, reliable service, and customized consulting.
Our expertise lies in die casting, extrusion, and die forging. Our tool steel is produced entirely from sorted scrap, melted using a purely inductive process. This allows us to minimize alloying additives, achieve an almost 100% recycling rate, and manufacture sustainably.

We specialize in the production of hot-work steels. In addition to standardized tool steels according to DIN EN ISO 4957, we develop our own premium materials tailored to our customers’ specific requirements.
As an application-oriented problem solver, our goal is to optimize tool service life across various production processes. With our in-house developed premium steels, we have expanded our product range to offer efficient solutions for tools exposed to extreme loads.
