This enables us to efficiently supply GMH Gruppe’s plants as well as national and international customers with high-quality steel, non-ferrous and alloyed scrap and metallurgical by-products. Versatility

We handle a wide range of secondary raw materials for steelworks and foundries, which are efficiently processed at our sites according to customer requirements. We also offer individual contract processing with our units. Furthermore, we provide you with reliable support in logistics processing – from container provision to heavy transport.
Ideal processing
options
With our processing units, the drop units, screening systems, burning hoods and a blasting bunker, we can process a wide range of materials according to customer requirements in terms of size and weight. We use a baling press for optimum volume reduction of sheet metal scrap. Our briquetting press is used to produce briquettes from a composite of steel chips and grinding sludge.

Together in the GMH Gruppe network, we as GMH Recycling enable closed loops with our business partners. These include cooperations in which our customers’ scrap from production is returned to GMH Recycling. GMH Gruppe’s steelworks melt this scrap into new steel, which is supplied back to the customer as a product via the value chain. Solutions like these help to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions.
